    The North Orbit's design philosophy is simple: to create a kite that is super easy to use and brings big air performance within everyone's reach, whether you are a beginner or a professional. And they succeeded!

    Stability and Control at a New Level

    Where the previous Orbit version was already a very stable and predictable kite in all conditions, this 2024 Orbit takes these features to a new level. North has adjusted the 2024 Orbit's bridle configuration so that the kite performs better in gusty conditions and is even easier to control in strong winds, which has once again increased the predictability of the Orbit 2024. The result is a kite that you dare to send to the moon in the harshest conditions and jump higher than ever before.

    Aerodynamics and Speed

    With the bridle update, the leading edge shape is also more balanced. The North Orbit 2024 has a more aerodynamic design and flies through the air with less drag. You will also notice that this is the fastest Orbit ever, and the North Orbit has already been the fastest 5-strut kite on the market!

    Ease of Kiteloops

    Kitelooping with a 5-strut kite has never been easier. The pull generated by the North Orbit 2024 in a kiteloop is very light, so you can practice all kinds of variations with kiteloops in a very controlled way.

    Lighter and More Aerodynamic

    The Orbit 2024's panel layout has been redesigned. This redesigned layout removes some heavy panels and reduces the number of seams to a minimum. This makes the Orbit 2024 lighter, and the redesigned layout also promotes a more aerodynamic profile, faster steering, and finer feedback. The weight of the bladders of all Orbit 2024 kites has been reduced by 17% to improve overall performance!

    Unchanged Features

    Many things have of course also remained the same in the North Orbit 2024. The Orbit 2024 still has its unique high AR kite for hangtime and big air. However, this has been slightly reduced in small sizes so that these sizes now give a little more time in the air. The 5-strut construction, which is the foundation of the North Orbit's stable character, is of course also included in the 2024 model. Last year's bar pressure fine-tuning is also found in the 2024 Orbit, so you can use the kite in four different ways to your liking. The Orbit is reinforced with Kevlar in several places to extend the Orbit's lifespan.

    In short, North has once again delivered an excellent performance improvement this year to make the 2024 mega-Orbit the best Orbit ever. The North Orbit 2024 is the ideal kite when you think that big air is your thing! With the Orbit, you can easily jump higher and practice your first kiteloops.
